• Explore Mendelian inheritance and the connection between phenotype and genotype
• Introduce the biotechnologies of restriction enzyme digestion, PCR, and electrophoresis
• Perform agarose gel electrophoresis to separate different sized dye molecules
• Load, run, and analyze simulated DNA samples from four sibling and their parents to discover the genetics behind their different eye colors
